Newest Addition to the Family

Meet Belle (the goat). My daughter has adopted a dogie goat. I'm not so sure I'm up for it, but all she can talk about is "can I have a baby goat". Well we happen to have a nanny that had triplets, one died and she rejected this one. I had to share these pictures, they are so cute. We have been having so much fun with all the babies. Yesterday we had a set of twin lambs and we have a couple of Barbados which really are the cutest of all. They are like little deer and they are almost impossible to catch.

Okay, Gracie here, with her goat reminds me of me when I was her age. I thought I would share this cute memory. :) If I could only get her a snazzy pant suit like I had. I'm sure my mother made that outfit for me.

Awww. We only have one baby this year. It actually came from a friend's ranch, a little hereford calf. He's had a rough go of it. We just had to remove one of his eyes, but he'll be fine!

Your girl is so cute! I'm not envying you right though with the "newborn" goat and the round the clock feedings! Post pics though of when it gets bigger!

Wow, neighbor. You're definetely living in a part of New Mexico where people imagine New Mexico to be like year round.

Up here in the Sandia and Manzano mountains, we're at 7,000ft and still have several inches of snow on the ground. Won't be any kids or lambs being born anytime soon. lol!

Those lambs are the cutest things. I want to breed my sheep next year. I have Navajo Churro and Karakul. I also have to find a nice looking, milky-line, blue-eyed, registered mini-mancha buck to breed my registered mini mancha doe. Not asking for much am I? lol!

I really like your turquoise jewelry. Quick question: Do you use real turquoise or simulated?

I love the real stuff but it tends to be too much money for my meager budget. I'm not sure what to think of the simulated turquoise beads, though.

Well Happy New Year to ya!

Spooky resemblance between you and your "kid" haha.
Cool pantsuit. I think I had one just like it back in the day.
